This picture is worth everything that I have gone through. I got some AMAZING pictures from this session and don't regret a second of it. I almost did not post this blog because it might make me look a little weak, but I decided to post this quick little story anyways.
So, last Thursday, I had a Senior Portrait shoot with this lovely Senior. She wanted it at her barn and with her horses. I LOVE horses and barns. The only drawback is that I am allergic to hay and horses, BUT as soon as she told me that she wanted it there, I did not hesitate to say yes. I knew that it would make some AMAZING photos. I never told her that I was allergic because I wanted to do it with the hay and the horses irregardless of my allergies.
The shoot went great and I love the pictures that I got, and I not even done editing this session yet.
Look real closely at the picture, at the nice hay dust in the air in the light. It is part of what makes this picture amazing, but I inhaled some of that lovely hay dust without knowing it.
After the shoot, I took a zurteck and a bath, because I felt itchy. I felt fine all that weekend. On Monday, I even worked out. Then, on Tuesday, I woke up with my ribs being really sore. I chalked it up to just being sore from the work out, but it continued to get worst. I started to feel fatigued and develop a small cough.
I could tell that I was getting sick. I was not bad yet but I could feel it getting bad real quick. So I went to the doctor yesterday. I was in the office for 3 hours. I got chest xrays, blood work, and a breathing test done. I did, in fact, have some inflammation and that had developed into an acute lung infection.
Luckily I had caught it early and it was not too bad. They gave me a nice steroid shot and a prescription for 10 days of antibiotics.
I got out of the doctors office just in time to barely make it to my next appointment downtown at 6. The steroid shot helped with my energy levels. In fact they helped so much that I could not go to sleep last night until 5 am. I woke up at 8 this morning and I am going on 3 hours of sleep. I am just trying to take it easy today and I have a yard sale in the morning. I am just thankful that I caught this before it really knocked me off my feet.
Would I do it all again? In a heart beat! I LOVE what I do, and getting images like these make it all worth it to me. No Pain NO GAIN! Right?
