Jordan & Jonathon | April 26 | Events on Court | Gadsden Wedding Photographer

May 05, 2014  •  2 Comments

Last weekend, we had the privilege of photographing Jordan and Johnathan's beautiful sunset ceremony, at Events on Court, in Gadsden. Here is the story of their beautiful day.

The Ceremony and Reception was at one of Gadsden's best event venue's, Events on Court. It is nestled in the heart of downtown Gadsden.

Weather: Beautiful and Sunny

Alexander's The Great Events Catered and did the beautiful Floral bouquets

Luminary Sounds provided DJ and reception entertainment

Second Photographer: Joel Price

The Story Behind the Dress
When I arrived to Events on Court, the steamer was broken. So the iron steam was used to try to get some of the wrinkles out. It worked perfectly in the back of the dress but got too hot for the front of the dress. AND the tulle on the front of the dress got a hole in it. No one panicked and somehow we all stayed calm. The mom of the bride and her family immediately came up with some amazing backup plans and solutions. Some one did a quick run to Hobby Lobby and got these amazing broaches that could be used to gather and hide the holes. Not only did it do it's job of hiding the hole, but it actually made the dress better!!! Everything really does happen for a reason.

The Broaches game the gown a more Princess Cinderella look and feel.

Off to Live Happily Ever After! Congratulations Jordan and Jonathan Gilmore.

It was a pleasure and honor to be your wedding photographer.

It takes 6-8 weeks to edit an entire wedding. For this reason, I give a lot of sneak peeks on facebook and a blog post for family and friends to enjoy, while I edit the entire wedding.
