On May 10, 2014, I had the privilege to photograph this amazing wedding. Kristina and Michael is that couple who knows exactly what they want, and I believe they found that precisely in each other. They picked out this amazing venue and wonderful vendors to help them throw this really memorable intimate event. From German wedding traditions, to Chinese Lanterns, everything went wonderfully to help them start their life together.
Here is the story of their wedding day:
Kristina message me on Thursday a little concerned about the weather. It looked like it was going to rain on the wedding day. I assured her that either way we were going to get some amazing photos. It did rain most of the morning on that day, but the rain had completely stopped by the time I arrived. The sky was a beautiful blue and had a few beautiful white fluffy clouds left over from the rain.

An old German wedding custom, the tradition of cutting a log represents the first obstacle that the couple must overcome in their marriage. They must work together to “overcome the obstacle” by sawing through the log. Using a large, long saw with two handles, the couple demonstrates their teamwork to friends and family, and their willingness and ability to master the difficulties that inevitably arise in a marriage.

Off to Live Happily Ever After! Congratulations Again Kristina and Michael!!! It was such a honor to be you wedding photographer.
It takes 6-8 weeks to edit an entire wedding. For this reason, I give a lot of sneak peeks on facebook and a blog post for family and friends to enjoy, while I edit the entire wedding.
